Throughout the years, like most nutrition information in the media, carbohydrates have been good then bad. People have been told to completely cut out all sources of carbs for various reasons or decided they needed to do so on their own. But, in reality, carbohydrate foods are incredibly important for our body as a source of fuel.
March is designated as National Nutrition Month, so registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator Rachael Hartley decided to write a series on her blog called Diet Mythbusters and her second post features common myths related to carbohydrates, such as, “Will carbs make you gain weight?”.
