Resistance training is defined as an exercise that increases muscle strength by making muscles work against a weight or force. Resistance exercise is considered a form of anaerobic exercise.
While there are many benefits of Resistance training, (see list HERE), this month we’re going to take time to highlight some of the major benefits that we think are important to you.
While a well balanced approach to fitness is commendable, and cardio and flexibility have their role in keeping us healthy, resistance training as we age can reverse the less desirable effects that we experienced with age. Stay tuned…
