10 Feb Jump in
Riddle me this.
There are four frogs sitting on the side of a pond. Three of the frogs decide to jump in. How many frogs are left sitting next to the pond?
The answer: Four frogs because there is a big difference between deciding to do something and actually doing it.
Boom. This fact of life is what we want to explore and dig into this month.
We are rolling through the new year and during the month of February as we think about love and relationships, we would like to place an emphasis on making the effort to care for yourself well. But it’s not enough to decide that it would be nice to be healthy or strong or leaner or more flexible. As we all know, the follow through with the habits on a consistent basis is what provides the benefits to your body.
We know that our priorities and perspectives change over the course of our lives. So, right now, at the youngest you will ever be again, think long and hard and decide on one important goal that you would like to work for and achieve – it can be short-term or long-term.
Next week, we are going to look long and hard at the factors surrounding the important goal you have chosen for yourself and talk through what it might take to make that goal a reality.
Friends, it’s time to jump into the pond!
