I don’t know about you, but when I find a good deal on something I was already going to buy anyway, I’m a pretty happy shopper. And even though I’ve become more mindful of my “wants” versus my “needs,” it can sometimes be a challenging habit to implement when I’m walking through the grocery store shopping for food.
Did you know that studies show the longer you’re in the grocery store, the more money you’ll spend? Eeeek! So, do your homework at home by taking inventory and scanning the store’s weekly ad before you make your grocery list and head out the door. Or shop online for curbside/delivery and remove the temptation of impulse buys.
I have heard a variety of great tips to share with others about healthy eating on a budget and I was ready to make a short list of those here today. But then, Google. So, here is a list of 100 Ways to Eat Better on a Budget. And bonus for the tips being categorized:
